Transcorp International is a leading provider of cold chain IoT solutions across the UAE, specializing in temperature-controlled last-mile delivery programs supported by cutting-edge technology. Transcorp manages 15,000 daily deliveries across the UAE using 252 vehicles, operating 24/7, and is trusted by global companies like Amazon and Carrefour.
The company sought to enhance its operations and gain real-time visibility to make proactive adjustments. Their previous telematics and IoT fleet management software was ineffective, necessitating a new solution with advanced fleet visibility.
Previously, fuel control was manual, preventive maintenance depended on drivers' memory, routes were created based only on specific zones without optimizing space and fuel, drivers used random vehicles, and temperature was measured offline, with actions taken post-delivery.
Transcorp required robust cold chain IoT solutions to:
- Optimize fuel consumption management.
- Maintain temperature and humidity for deliveries.
- Revise delivery routes considering essential parameters.

Solution
Transcorp turned to MaliaTec, a leading enterprise solution provider from Beirut, Lebanon.
Hardware
As any IoT project starts with data, the vehicles should be equipped with devices to collect and transmit it to the client. MaliaTec installed and connected a range of devices, such as:
- GPS tracking devices, Teltonika FMC130 among them;
- mobile DVR units, Hero-ME31-08 among them;
- temperature and humidity sensors;
- engine blocks;
- driver ID readers;
- analog fuel readers.
Software
To collect and display data from devices, MaliaTec utilized Wialon, a comprehensive GPS tracking system featuring maintenance management, logistics, video telematics, and more. Additionally, the MaliaTrack route optimization solution was employed to enhance the company's cold chain logistics management.

- Driver behavior monitoring: Video telematics and Eco Driving features track, assess, and improve driver behavior.
